Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.

In Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. (Higehiro), ordinary salaryman Yoshida finds his quiet routine overturned after one long night at the bar. One Sunday morning, he wakes up to discover that his tiny apartment now has an unexpected resident: an unfamiliar high school girl. The night before, Yoshida had finally worked up the courage to confess to his boss and longtime crush, Airi Gotou, only to be rejected. After drowning his sorrows at a bar with his good friend Hashimoto, he made his way home in a drunken stupor and crossed paths with Sayu Ogiwara, a runaway high school girl. Sayu asked to stay the night, and with his judgment clouded by alcohol, Yoshida agreed. Now sober but with no memory of what happened, Yoshida has Sayu explain how she ended up sleeping at his apartment. As he listens to her story, he finds himself unable to kick her out—especially after learning that she came all the way from Hokkaido. Despite his reservations about sheltering an underage girl, Yoshida lets her stay, and their life together begins as an uneasy, compassionate arrangement shaped by caution, loneliness, and the slow unfolding of Sayu’s past.
