Hibike! Euphonium

Hibike! Euphonium centers on Kumiko Oumae, a first-year at Kitauji High School who wants a quiet reset after a painful past with the euphonium. Instead, she is pulled back into the school concert band by Sapphire Kawashima and Hazuki Katou, and soon finds herself inside a club trying to turn enthusiasm into discipline. Under advisor Noboru Taki, Kitauji's band begins rebuilding itself through honest auditions, strict rehearsals, and the pressure of reaching nationals, forcing every member to confront the gap between playing for fun and playing to win. As Kumiko learns to navigate the section's rivalries, she also has to confront Reina Kousaka, her former bandmate and someone with whom she has a bitter relationship, after Reina joins Kitauji's band club as well. The franchise follows the ensemble as friendship, rivalry, and pride shape both the music and the bonds between its members, with each performance carrying the weight of their growth.
