Hataage! Kemono Michi

Hataage! Kemono Michi follows professional wrestler Genzou Shibata, a man with the body of a mountain and an extreme affection for animals hidden beneath his hulking frame. In the ring, he is known as the legendary "Animal Mask," a tiger-masked performer who has won crowds over with his outrageous style and larger-than-life presence. Everything changes during his World Champion bout against his greatest rival, the Macadamian Ogre, when a princess suddenly summons him to a fantasy world and begs him to save her kingdom from a monster infestation. Genzou responds by German suplexing the princess, escaping the castle, and deciding to make his own living in this strange land. Instead of becoming the hero the kingdom expected, he sets out as a beast hunter, capturing and befriending creatures across the world while chasing his true dream of opening a pet shop. Along the way, Genzou is joined by the wolf-girl Shigure, the dragon-girl Hanako, and the vampire Carmilla Vanstein, and the group takes on dangerous requests as the wrestler pursues a life built around animals, mischief, and his own impossible sense of honor.
