Gridman

Gridman opens with Yuuta Hibiki waking up in Rikka Takarada's room with no memory of who he is, only the sound of a mysterious voice calling his name from a nearby computer. Behind an old monitor waits Hyper Agent Gridman, a robot that Yuuta alone can hear while Rikka cannot. Outside, a thick fog blankets the town, and monstrous forms appear where everyone else sees empty streets. When a giant monster attacks the city, Yuuta is pulled into Gridman and becomes the one person able to confront the threat. Together with Rikka and their classmate Shou Utsumi, he forms the Gridman Alliance to battle the kaiju and investigate the force behind their sudden appearance. Built on a tokusatsu-inspired foundation, the franchise follows young characters caught between urban destruction, shifting realities, and uneasy alliances, as each battle deepens the mystery surrounding their world and the people inside it.
