Ghost Meets Gal!

Ghost Meets Gal! is a 2026 TV short adaptation of KaeruDX's manga. Directed by Kenshirou Morii and animated by AtoriE, the series is presented as a Cardfight!! Vanguard spin-off centered on Santy (サンティ) and Lubna (ルブナ), two girls who are aiming to become idols. Their shared ambition puts the focus on their partnership first, letting the story build its comedy and momentum through the contrast between the two leads and the situations that gather around them. Across the work, Santy and Lubna remain the clear center of the narrative rather than a single seasonal subplot. Mitsuru Tsukiumi's character designs shape the look of the pair, while sound director Hiroki Urakari and composer Keigo Hoashi give the short-format series its audio identity. With its idol premise, manga origins, and Cardfight!! Vanguard connection, Ghost Meets Gal! stands as a compact character piece that follows two girls trying to turn their goal into a future.
