Garo

Garo unfolds in the Valiante Kingdom, where a royal campaign against alleged witchcraft has become a brutal purge while, unseen by the public, Makai Knights and Alchemists protect humanity from Horrors—demons that prey on souls burdened by sadness and pain. Through that hidden war, Garo explores the cost of inherited power, loyalty, and the bond between those chosen to stand between people and darkness. Seventeen-year-old Leon Luis inherits the legendary armor of the Golden Knight Garo from his mother, but the power comes with the hatred he bears after her death at the kingdom's hands. His father German, the Zoro the Shadow Cutting Knight, continues training him and decides to take Leon to the capital when a surge of Horrors demands investigation. There, the king's amiable son Alfonso San Valiante struggles to answer the rising threat, only to be betrayed and banished from his own kingdom. Forced into exile, Alfonso searches for the strength and allies needed to reclaim the throne, and his path eventually crosses Leon's, changing both of their fates.
