Fugou Keiji: Balance: Unlimited

In Fugou Keiji: Balance: Unlimited, Daisuke Kanbe, a detective blessed with extraordinary wealth, is assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters, where he is paired with Haru Katou, a humane detective who values justice above all else. Their personalities could not be more different: Daisuke treats money as a tool that can solve almost any problem, while Haru despises that approach and insists that money is not everything. Time and again, their clashing morals turn every investigation into a test of patience, trust, and teamwork. As cases begin to pile up, the two are forced to rely on one another if they want to uncover the truth behind the mysteries coming their way. Daisuke’s vast resources and unorthodox methods often open doors no ordinary detective could, but Haru’s compassion, instincts, and unwavering sense of right and wrong keep him grounded. Together, they navigate the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters and the strange crimes that threaten the city, gradually learning that solving a case sometimes requires both unlimited wealth and an unwavering belief in justice.
