Dance in the Vampire Bund opens with Mina Tepes, the ruler of all vampires, making a startling public declaration on live television: vampires exist. Backed by her family's wealth and political leverage, she wins permission to build the Vampire Bund in Japan, a refuge where vampires can live openly and, she hopes, earn enough trust to share the world with humans.
But the announcement only deepens the danger around her. Human fear, vampire pride, and hidden loyalties collide as the Bund becomes both a symbol of hope and a target for resentment. At the center of that unrest is Akira Kaburagi, a young man drawn into the violence gathering around Mina and the sanctuary she is trying to protect. Their uneasy connection gives the conflict a personal edge, while the broader struggle keeps pushing the sanctuary toward open confrontation. As tensions rise, Mina must defend her vision of coexistence and face the possibility that the place she built to keep both species safe could become a battlefield.
