D-Frag! centers on Kenji Kazama, the self-styled leader of a small delinquent crew at Fujou Academy, who wants nothing more than to make a name for himself and look imposing in front of the other students. That plan falls apart when he and his friends stumble into the Game Development Club while trying to stop a fire. Instead of a dramatic debut, Kenji is overwhelmed by the club’s eccentric members, beaten at their own pace, and dragged into a chaotic after-school world that he cannot seem to leave behind.
Once trapped there, Kenji is pulled into constant clashes with student council president Chitose Karasuyama, tomboy Sakura Mizukami, lazy adviser Minami Oosawa, and the elusive Roka Shibasaki. Their confrontations turn into a stream of absurd club activities, school politics, and escalating misunderstandings, with Kenji’s increasingly hopeless attempts to escape only making things worse. D-Frag! turns everyday campus life into a fast-paced comedy of pride, noise, and badly managed games, where every small victory seems to lead to another disaster.
