Cyborg 009 follows Joe Shimamura, also known as Cyborg 009, and the other human test subjects stolen by the mysterious Black Ghost organization and rebuilt as superpowered cyborgs. Bound together by the violence that changed their lives, the nine warriors turn their abilities against the people who created them and against the many powers that profit from war, exploitation, and mass suffering.
