Cop Craft unfolds in San-Teresa, a city transformed fifteen years ago when a hyperspace gate opened in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and linked Earth to a strange world of fairies and monsters. The influx of more than two million otherworldly visitors turned the city into a place of uneasy coexistence, but it also brought drug trafficking, prostitution, and other crimes that now shadow its streets. To keep order, the San-Teresa Metropolitan Police formed a special department dedicated to the city’s most dangerous cases.
Former JSDF soldier Kei Matoba is one of its sharpest officers, even if he is known to bend the rules when necessary. After a fairy trafficking operation goes wrong, Kei loses Rick Fury, his friend and partner of four years, and becomes determined to avenge him. The investigation leads the department to pair him with Tilarna Exedilika, a noble from the Farbani Kingdom and one of the Knights of Mirvor. Her mission is to recover the noble fairy Kei encountered during his last case, while Kei’s own prejudice against non-humans makes the partnership anything but easy. Forced to work together, Kei and Tilarna must bridge their differences, recover the missing fairy, and confront the criminal world that threatens both their cities.
