Chain Chronicle

Chain Chronicle unfolds on the remote continent of Yggd, whose people long believed their land was the whole world. The continent is divided into several territories ruled by different kings, and peace has traditionally depended on roundtable conferences where those rulers choose a lord to preserve the balance. Even before open war begins, that order is unstable: old rivalries, small wars, and political mistrust keep the kingdoms on fragile ground. At the center of the setting is the Chain Chronicle, a book said to record everything that happens in the world, binding the fate of Yggd to its own history. That uneasy order collapses when the monstrous Black Army appears. Yuri leads the Volunteer Army alongside Phoena and Aram, but the invasion quickly becomes more than a military crisis as the Black King seizes half of the Chain Chronicle and takes the capital. Fear spreads across the continent, and the people of Yggd are forced to confront the possibility that the borders they trusted are far smaller than the dangers gathering beyond them. Framed by tense diplomacy, escalating conflict, and competing powers struggling to protect a fragile peace, the series follows kingdoms that must decide whether pride and long-standing hostility will keep them divided or whether survival will depend on cooperation as much as strength in battle.
