Campione!

Campione! centers on Godou Kusanagi, a sixteen-year-old who expects an ordinary summer until his grandfather sends him to Italy on a strange errand. There, he meets Erica Blandelli, a sharp-tongued witch whose presence pulls him into a hidden struggle between mortal life and the Heretic Gods that move beneath it. When Godou is forced into a deadly duel with the god of war, he wins an impossible victory and inherits the title of Campione, a God Slayer chosen to stand against divine beings that threaten humanity. From that point on, Campione! shifts between myth, magic, and modern-day chaos as Godou learns what his new role means. He gathers allies who can face the unseen powers around him, navigates rival factions with their own agendas, and tries to keep hold of the everyday life that keeps slipping away. Blending urban fantasy, action, and mythology, the series builds around a war between Heaven and Earth, where every encounter tests Godou’s resolve, his loyalties, and the burden of a power he never asked to wield.
