Bucchigiri?! centers on Arajin Tomoshibi, a transfer student at Ichizu High School who wants nothing more than to find a girlfriend and stay out of the bitter power struggle between the rival gangs Minato Kai and Siguma Squad. His luck seems to improve when he is seated next to Mahoro Jin, the prettiest girl in the class, who appears to like him. The situation quickly becomes more complicated: Mahoro's overprotective older brother is Marito, the combative leader of Siguma Squad, and Arajin's reunion with his childhood friend Matakara Asamine pulls him toward Minato Kai, where Matakara is already a member.
Arajin's bad luck deepens when he accidentally awakens Senya, a genie known as a Honki Person from ancient legends. Senya takes a shine to him because of the young man's fervent aspiration, even if that dream is only to lose his virginity. Arajin would normally be the first to flee from a fight, but with Senya lending him power he can hold his own against the likes of Marito. That sudden strength draws the attention of both gangs, each eager to recruit him, and the turf war only intensifies when a third gang joins the fray. Caught between rival factions, old ties, and powers he never asked for, Arajin may no longer be able to avoid getting involved.
