Her career is characterized by a versatile approach, seamlessly transitioning between performing as a vocalist and composing complex background music for television series and films. Under her own name, Itō is celebrated for her gentle, melodic vocal style, often featured in ending themes for popular series such as "Beyond the Boundary" (Kyōkai no Kanata) and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid."
